GUN SAFETY

Terence is a gun owner who believes in protecting the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens. He also believes that with those rights come responsibilities.

As a father, he knows that public safety is not an abstract debate. Preventing gun violence and protecting our children must be a priority.

Terence supports common-sense measures that keep guns out of the hands of those who pose a threat, including expanded background checks, banning devices like bump stocks, raising the age to purchase assault-style weapons, and strengthening red flag laws. He also supports increased funding for school counselors and mental health services to help identify warning signs before tragedies occur.

He has opposed efforts to weaken existing safeguards, including permitless concealed carry legislation that removes training and accountability requirements. Terence believes we can protect constitutional rights while also taking practical steps to reduce preventable violence.
